Establishment

LISAS was established in the year 1992 by a group of committed Academicians and Bureaucrats.

Registration

L.C. Institute of Social and Applied Sciences (LISAS), the parent organization of LISAS'IAS, is registered under Societies Registration Act (Act XXI of 1860) having Registration No.5444-483.

Director

LISAS’IAS is headed by Dr. Linu Chayani, founder Director. She is a highly qualified and committed academician being First Class First (Gold Medalist), B.A. (Hons) & M.A. M.Phil. (Delhi University), Ph.D. (Utkal). Her innovative methods and expertise have helped a large number of students to be successful in Civil Services Examinations and also in other Competitive Examinations.

Faculties

LISAS is associated with expert faculties with long experience in imparting result oriented guidance. They adopt scientific techniques to bring out the hidden potential of the students to succeed in Competitive Examinations. Eminent Civil Servants also regularly interact with the students of LISAS’IAS and share their techniques of success. The permanent faculties of LISAS’IAS are always available to guide the students in the course of their preparation.

Library

LISAS is having its own library with special emphasis on Books, Journals, Materials, Magazines, News Papers required for preparation of Civil Services Examinations and also for other Competitive Examinations. The Library run by LISAS has seen addition of a lot of new books and upgradation of its infrastructure. The library of LISAS is found to be immensely helpful for a large number of students of the Institute. The library has more than 15000 books. Institute’s Library is open from 10.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.
